where do you live?
i’m 5’11 and 80 kls advanced surfer thinking to get a 5’8 20 21/2 is that
good?
Would be good to know the size of the board as well as your height, weight,
skill level… Sounds a bit cheesy but helps to put stuff in to
perspective… Or add it into the description.. My 2 American cents
Thanks for your good feedback Robert; these are important factors. The wave
type, size and period you surf are important, too, as is your fitness. I
focus on volume as an equalizer; I’ve added a link to a volume guide on the
CS site. Regardless, I’m 6′ tall, intermediate and weigh 105 kg’s (230
lb’s). After trial & error, my volume sweet spot is ~36CL’s for a good wave
board, ~37-41CL’s for an average wave board and 45CL’s+ for tiny, weak
waves. My HK is 6’2 and has 38.4CL’s of volume.
